| To live, and to cherish the life the Lord gave you is sacred. As life ends, we are vowed to remember our dead. When a person dies, it is essential not to postpone the funeral. It should be done as soon as possible. Cremation is forbidden! From the funeral day, the family has 7 days of mourning, according to Tripoli tradition the family should:
As those seven days end, all the family goes to the cemetery. Takes a shower and change clothes. The men should avoid shaving or cut their hair for 30 days from the funeral day, after the 7 day's mourning, the grave stone should be prepared and be ready for the 30 days memorial. |
